Description

Continuing my trend of making rational backstories to the Thunderbird craft, here is Thunderbird 4. 2 and 3 available here:

Building The Behemoth by ChrisofedfNeptune's Trident. by Chrisofedf

The Silverfin was one of a few testbed craft used extensively by Gordon Tracy while he worked as a designer and test pilot at W.A.S.P R&D. Based extensively on W.A.S.Ps 1 man scout craft, it's purpose was try out experimental propulsion, sonar and torpedo systems.

Following a near fatal hydrofoil accident and his departure from W.A.S.P, Gordon's billionaire father Jeff, was able to obtain the craft and presented it to his son in what the world saw as an exhibition of his immense fortune. The craft was involved in several charity water events and a few deep sea research dives before finally being retired... Or so the world thought.

Deep within a secret Tracy Construction and Aerospace facility, Gordon and a genius inventor, known only as  "Brains", completely refitted and overhauled the craft for it's real purpose.

Despite getting relatively little screen time compared to the others, Gordon always seemed the most charismatic of the Tracy bros, easy going and a bit of a prankster. Given that and TB4's small size I went for a "garage style" look instead of the massive professionally run hangers the other two where in.

I also took a bit of time to try and get Gordon's character across. So the place is a mess of, parts, beer and pizza boxes. Theres a small tribute to TB4's other incarnations as well as quite a few obscure references to Thunderbirds and other shows. Have a look, you probably wont get them all...

Will probably get to 1 and 5 eventually.
